The role of Bakery Production Manager at Good Foods Co-op is a full-time position designed for an individual passionate about bakery production and team leadership within a natural foods grocery setting. This role involves overseeing the daily production operations of the Bakery Department to ensure legendary quality in bakery goods and operational excellence. The Bakery Production Manager plays a vital role in managing a busy bakery kitchen environment, where coordinating schedules, supporting staff, and maintaining food safety standards are paramount. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- five years of bakery, prepared foods, restaurant, or kitchen experience
- two years of supervisory or personnel management experience
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely
- reliable and detail oriented
- strong communication skills
- commitment to cooperative values

Job Duties
- Manage and support bakery production staff
- coordinate daily bakery production schedules and workflow efficiency

- monitor department sales, labor, food costs, and production efficiency
- maintain clean, organized, and food-safe bakery and prep areas
