The Production Bakery Cake Associate role at 85C Bakery Cafe is a vital position based in the Back of House within their Central Kitchen. This position involves hands-on responsibilities that are crucial for the production of quality cakes that meet the company's high standards. The associate will be involved in various stages of cake production, from baking and decoration to packaging and preparing items for delivery. This role is crafted for individuals passionate about baking, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic culinary environment. In this role, associates will engage in baking and decorating 85C baked goods, packaging finished products correctly with accurate dating, and maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe workplace. Duties extend to daily operational tasks like separating ingredients, filling molds or pans, baking, and inventory receiving. Associates must work collaboratively with their peers and management to deliver unparalleled service and maintain bakery product quality. This position is physically demanding, requiring associates to stand and walk extensively, perform moderate lifting up to 50 pounds, and endure exposure to varying temperature conditions found in coolers and freezers.
