Job Duties
- Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures
- ensure the quality and freshness of all bakery products and services
- maintain appropriate product assortment and inventory levels
- confirm pricing accuracy and signage for all products including ad items
- ensure the bakery is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets company standards
- deliver excellent customer service
- order products and create production sheets based on past and projected sales
- complete assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
- set a professional and positive example for others
- communicate openly and frequently with Store Director and Director of Fresh Bakery
- ensure company standards for safety, sanitation, and productivity are maintained
- write bakery schedules to ensure coverage and meet labor goals
- teach, mentor, and educate associates to help them succeed
- provide honest and direct feedback to associates and assess performance
- promptly address and resolve associates’ concerns and grievances
- conduct quarterly inventory of all bakery products
