Job Requirements
- Ability to solve practical problems
- Ability to do simple addition, subtraction, counting, and recording
- Ability to understand and follow written, verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Ability to write identifying information and request supplies orally or in writing
- Visual clarity at distances from less than 20 inches to less than 20 feet with color vision and depth perception
- Ability to read product descriptions on boxes and shelf tags
- Ability to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Ability to solve practical problems and handle multiple variables
- Basic math skills including addition and subtraction
- Ability to understand and follow written, verbal, or demonstrated instructions
- Strong communication skills
- Visual acuity including color vision and depth perception
Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service
- Train, coach, supervise, and evaluate grocery associates to maintain performance standards
- Supervise and participate in Grocery, Dairy, and Frozen department activities
- Supervise store in absence of Store Director or Assistant Store Director
- Monitor and enforce all government and company regulations
- Maintain customer service levels and handle multiple priorities
- Operate safely in cooler, freezer, and store environments
