The Bakery Manager role at H-E-B plays a crucial part within this dynamic setup. Job Requirements
- 3+ years of leadership experience
- Certified Bakery Expert or equivalent
- School of Retail Management (SORM) or equivalent
- Food Safety certification
- Forklift and power jack training
- Ability to function in a fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to stand and lift 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching overhead and side to side
- Hand and finger dexterity
- Safely maneuver around moving mechanical parts
- Ability to work in cooler and extreme temperature environments
- Willingness to work extended hours and varying schedules
Job Qualifications
- Certified Bakery Expert or equivalent
- School of Retail Management (SORM) training
- Food Safety certification

- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties
- Use independent judgment making employment-related and business decisions
- Supervise, coach, train, and evaluate partners
- Prepare work schedules, order product, control inventory, monitor budget and payroll
- Develop and execute production plans ensuring correct quantities and quality
- Monitor showcase production and manage shrink and inventory levels
- Drive sales by implementing merchandising programs and maintaining product variety
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
