Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) certification or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years bakery experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks such as standing and kneeling
  • Flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) or equivalent certification
  • Previous bakery management or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of bakery products and preparation techniques
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
  • Familiarity with inventory and supply chain processes

Job Duties

  • Coordinate bakery operations to meet company standards
  • Manage and schedule bakery staff effectively
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations including CPFM guidelines
  • Maintain product quality and presentation
  • Oversee inventory management and ordering of bakery supplies
  • Train and mentor bakery employees
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve concerns related to bakery products
