Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- minimum 2 years retail grocery experience
- dependable and reliable with flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- show outgoing and friendly behavior
- good communication skills
- able to answer phones and take special orders
- perform housekeeping and sanitation duties
- operate bakery equipment and tools including knives and pallet jacks
- physical ability to stand and lift moderately heavy items without assistance
- comply with safety and health regulations
- maintain Food Handlers permit
- knowledge of personnel and sales reports
- capable of vertical and horizontal item transfer within required weight and distance limits
Job Qualifications

- knowledge of scales and weight measures
- able to stand up to 3 hours continuously during an 8 hour shift
- capable of lifting and transferring items up to 40 lbs without mechanical assistance
- adherence to safety, health, and regulatory requirements
- working knowledge of personnel reports, sales numbers, and financial goals
Job Duties
- Manage daily baking, production, and display of bakery products
- supervise product quality and consistency, track inventory, and manage budget
- evaluate department conditions and develop improved procedures
- ensure safety, proper food handling, sanitation, and productivity standards
- oversee ordering, receiving, unloading, and storage
- execute rotation of merchandise and build displays
- manage inventory, in-stocks, pricing integrity, merchandising, and labor
- plan and order to maximize sales and gross profit
- engage and evaluate team members with coaching and feedback
- recruit, hire, and promote team members
- address team member concerns and take corrective actions
- create and adjust schedules and staffing levels
- communicate standards, policies, and product knowledge
- lead team to deliver excellent product quality and customer experience
- serve as Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed
