Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in bakery or retail management preferred
  • Ability to lift up to fifty pounds up to fifty percent of the time
  • Basic math skills for merchandise counting
  • Dexterity for bagging and packaging products
  • Strong communication abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to schedule and supervise employees effectively
  • Knowledge of inventory control and ordering procedures
  • Experience with product quality monitoring
  • Capability in cake decorating
  • Familiarity with safety, sanitation, and health regulations

Job Duties

  • Responsible for following merchandising plans for the department
  • Responsible for ordering to maintain inventory control and ensure freshness and product quality
  • Responsible to order and maintain asset control of commercial bread while ensuring freshness and product quality
  • Enforce and follow all policies regarding receiving, dating, and restocking to ensure product rotation
  • Participate in shrink control
  • Effectively schedule and supervise department employees
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with company policies related to safety and sanitation
