Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Prior experience in bakery management or food production leadership required
- Knowledge of bakery operations, food safety standards, and recipe compliance
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate effectively
- Customer-focused with a passion for food and service
- Willing to obtain a food handler permit (assistance provided by McKeever's)
- Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours)
- Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), reaching, bending, and repetitive motions
- Comfortable working in warm and cold environments
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Duties
- Lead, train, and manage bakery team members, ensuring high standards for service and performance
- Oversee production schedules for breads, pastries, cakes, and specialty items
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and quality control guidelines
- Monitor and manage inventory, ordering, and product rotation
- Support and execute custom cake orders, seasonal promotions, and merchandising displays
- Drive department sales and profitability through product knowledge and team engagement
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with store leadership and team members
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and scheduling of bakery staff
