Job Requirements
- 3 plus years of leadership experience
- certified Bakery Expert or equivalent
- School of Retail Management (SORM) or equivalent
- Food Safety certification
- forklift or power jack training
- ability to stand and lift 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to work in cooler and hot environments
- ability to perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, kneeling, and walking throughout shift
- ability to work extended hours and varying schedules as needed
- strong communication and organizational skills
- ability to handle stressful situations with adaptability
Job Qualifications
- Certified Bakery Expert or equivalent
- Retail Bakery Association-Certified Master Baker preferred
- School of Retail Management (SORM) trained
- Food Safety certification
- Forklift or power jack training
- 3 plus years of leadership experience
- advanced interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- strong leadership and analytical skills
- proficient in MS Office and H-E-B systems
- ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate effectively
- experience in a fast-paced retail environment
Job Duties
- Supervise and coordinate Bakery department operations
- train and evaluate Partners according to company standards
- prepare work schedules, order products, and control inventory
- manage department budget and payroll
- develop and implement production plans
- ensure accurate product quantities and quality
- monitor production and stales tracking
- execute merchandising programs to increase sales
- maintain exceptional customer service standards
- enforce compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- resolve Partner-related personnel issues
- hold team accountable for following standard operating procedures
- coach and assist Partners in their daily duties
