The Bakery Cook position reports directly to the Pastry Chef and is a full-time, non-exempt role within this distinguished setting. This role is pivotal to the successful operation of the bakery and pastry department, with a strong focus on the preparation and production of a variety of baked goods and desserts. The Bakery Cook leads pastry production by skillfully managing the development and inventory control of all bakery items. Candidates suited for this position should possess extensive technical pastry experience, coupled with a high level of self-motivation and the ability to perform independently within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include daily preparation of bread, cookies, desserts, and other farm shop products, following recipes with precise accuracy to ensure consistent product quality. Detail orientation is paramount while working under the demands of a high-volume bakery environment.
