Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to follow detailed baking and safety procedures
- Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds frequently and heavier with assistance
- Able to work in environments with temperature extremes such as freezers and ovens
- Must maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
- Strong communication skills to interact with members and team
- Regular and predictable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling instructions
- Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts based on production charts
- Maintain cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department
- Answer member questions and take special orders
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, and cakes
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety and freshness policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods
- Clean and sanitize equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- Operate bakery equipment safely according to procedures
- Ensure all products meet company quality standards
- Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
