Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to move about non-hard surfaces
- Ability to bend, handle, pull, reach, push, and stoop
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds frequently
- Ability to lift and move heavy or awkward objects greater than 30 pounds with assistance
- Comfortable working in environments with temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and coolers
- Willingness to be exposed to cleaning agents
- Reliable and able to maintain regular predictable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- Answer member calls and take special orders
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information using ovens and equipment
- Use bakery production charts as a guide for production and display needs
- Gather products for preparation for the next business day
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, and other items
- Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts based on production chart recommendations
- Decorate special order or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety and handling policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Ensure all products are fresh and meet company quality standards
- Check for out-of-date products daily and follow salvage and stale product policies
- Generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods and perform price check functions
- Clean and sanitize equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces in the bakery
- Operate bakery equipment safely and follow safety policies
- Maintain all club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
