Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to move about non hard surfaces including bending, handling, pulling, reaching, pushing and stooping
- Frequently lift objects up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift heavier or awkward objects with assistance
- Ability to work in indoor environments with exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and coolers
- Ability to frequently handle cleaning agents
- Must have regular, predictable, full attendance
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- Answer member calls and take special orders
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information using ovens and other equipment
- Use bakery production charts as a guide for production and display needs
- Gather products to be prepared for the next business day
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, and other items as needed
- Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts based on bakery production chart recommendations
- Decorate special order or case product
- Rotate and store bakery products following proper work methods on food safety, freshness, and product handling policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Ensure all products are fresh and meet company quality standards
- Check for out-of-date products daily and follow salvage and stale product policies
- Generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods and perform price check functions when necessary
- Clean and sanitize equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces in the bakery
- Operate and handle bakery equipment using proper safety policies and procedures
- Maintain all club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments as needed
- Ensure regular, predictable, full attendance
