Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 30 pounds
- Ability to work in environments with temperature extremes such as freezers and ovens
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
- Ability to follow detailed product handling and food safety procedures
- Strong communication skills for answering member questions and taking orders
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Regular, predictable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answers questions and recommends bakery items
- Answers member calls and takes special orders
- Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information using ovens and other equipment
- Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays proper amounts based on bakery production charts
- Packages freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, cakes, and others
- Decorates special order or case products
- Rotates and stores bakery products following food safety and product handling policies
- Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments
- Ensures all products are fresh and meet quality standards
- Checks for out-of-date products and follows salvage and stale product procedures
- Generates labels and price tickets and ensures accurate pricing
- Cleans and sanitizes equipment, fixtures, and food surfaces in the bakery
- Operates bakery equipment safely and according to procedures
- Maintains all club policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned including working in other departments as needed
- Demonstrates regular, predictable, full attendance
