Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous baking or culinary experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Capability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat as needed
- Ability to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads
- Ability to stand for extended periods during work shifts
- Willingness to work in environments that may include extreme cold
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience baking or cooking in a restaurant, bakery, or catering environment preferred
- Experience working in a retail and/or customer service-oriented environment preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for inventory and production tracking
Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service at the bakery counter and other areas as needed
- Ensure the daily baking of goods based on production guidelines
- Set and maintain baked goods case and sales floor including product, signage, and rotation for freshness
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and overall organization of the bakery department
- Assist with inventory management and restocking as necessary
- Follow safety and food handling protocols
- Collaborate with team members to meet store goals and customer needs
