Job Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age required
- food handler certification required
- ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- must be attentive to potential hazards and remedy or warn about them as soon as possible
- must report hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor
- partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for company business in accordance with BGC Business Driver Policy

- Food handler certification required

- ability to read and operate digital equipment, meters, dials, and calibrated scales
- ability to safely operate hazardous tools and equipment such as bread slicer and commercial oven
- ability to learn new systems, methods, or processes
- ability to use precision and non-precision hand tools
- ability to work well with fellow partners and promote a team environment
- ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal form
- ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Packages bakery products
- labels bakery products
- prices bakery products
- maintains stock levels by monitoring dates
- monitors product quality and storage temperature controls
- adheres to quality control and food safety standards by stocking and rotating baked goods
- assists bakery personnel with preparing, packaging, labeling, and maintaining product displays
- promotes product sales through suggestive selling initiatives
- stacks pallets and sorts products according to company efficiency standards
- maintains clean, safe, and sanitary working and shopping environment
- provides friendly and customer-service-oriented attitude by greeting customers
- answers questions and takes orders by phone and in person
