The Bakery Clerk role at QFC is designed for individuals who are passionate about delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of product quality and safety within the bakery department. This role encompasses preparing bakery items according to customer requests using appropriate equipment, offering product samples, and informing customers about bakery specials and promotions. The position requires working closely with department managers to achieve sales and profit goals while upholding all quality assurance standards. As a Bakery Clerk, you will play a key role in the daily operations of the bakery by utilizing various kitchen tools and equipment such as ovens, refrigerators, freezers, and mixers. You will be responsible for accurately measuring, preparing, and mixing ingredients, packaging and labeling products correctly, and maintaining inventory and stock. Furthermore, maintaining proper food safety practices, adhering to temperature logs, and following cooking or baking instructions are essential functions that guarantee the freshness and safety of all bakery products.
