Job Requirements
- Possess a valid Food Handler Card or equivalent certification
- Be between 16 and 17 years old
- Have the physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Read and write simple correspondence
- Follow detailed instructions
- Be able to stand and move for extended periods
- Basic PC or Outlook skills preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school student or equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and product labels
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Retail management certificate is a plus
Job Duties
- Provide friendly and courteous customer service in the bakery department
- Assist customers with bakery purchases and special orders
- Clean shelving and display cases
- Fill and rotate self-serve bakery displays
- Work with the Baker to determine baking and decorating needs
- Maintain cleanliness by hosing down floors and washing surfaces
- Follow food safety regulations and maintain a food handler card
