Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Be dependable and reliable with ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand continuously for up to 3 hours for 8-hour shifts
Capability to transfer trays up to 5 lbs vertically from 7" to 64" up to 10 hours
Ability to transfer items up to 40 lbs vertically and horizontally up to 36 feet for up to 10 hours without mechanical assistance
Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
Achieve and maintain a Food Handlers permit

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of bakery experience or acceptable combination of education and experience
Outgoing and friendly behavior
Positive attitude
Good communication skills
Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
Ability to answer phones and take special orders
Knowledge and ability to use knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks

Job Duties

Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
Provide high level of customer service ensuring bakery items are properly prepared, packaged and presented
Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment including cleaning shelves, products, and floors
Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while examining product rotation and discarding outdated items
Receive, inspect and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality
Answer phones and take special orders
Participate actively in a team environment
