Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- possess 1-2 years bakery experience or acceptable combination of education and experience
- be dependable and reliable
- work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- have outgoing and friendly behavior
- have a positive attitude
- have good communication skills
- able to take direction and work in a team environment
- able to answer phones and take special orders
- perform general housekeeping tasks
- able to operate bakery equipment
- able to stand for up to 3 hours continuously and up to 8 hours per shift
- able to transfer trays up to 5 lbs vertically
- able to transfer items up to 40 lbs vertically and horizontally
- adhere to safety, health, and weights and measures regulations
- maintain a food handler's permit

- 1-2 years of bakery experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Duties
- Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
- provide high level of customer service
- ensure cleanliness of the bakery department area
- maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment
- stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy
- examine rotation of bakery products and discard outdated items
- receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy, temperature, and quality
- answer phones and take special orders
