Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years bakery experience or equivalent education and experience
- Dependable and reliable with ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Outgoing and friendly behavior with positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and work in a team
- Ability to answer phones and take special orders
- Perform general housekeeping duties
- Ability to operate bakery equipment including knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift continuously for up to 3 hours
- Ability to lift and transfer trays up to 5 lbs and items up to 40 lbs without mechanical assistance
- Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- Maintain Food Handlers permit

- 1-2 years bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience

- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to operate bakery tools and equipment safely
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift weights as required
- Ability to adhere to safety, health, and hygiene regulations
Job Duties
- Assist the bakery manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
- Provide a high level of customer service and ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented while maintaining cleanliness of the bakery area
- Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment including cleaning shelves, floors, and removing hazardous debris
- Stock, fill, face, ensure pricing accuracy, examine product rotation, and discard outdated or spoiled items
- Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality
- Operate and use bakery equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, and pallet jacks
- Perform general housekeeping duties including sanitizing work areas and maintaining food safety standards
