Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years bakery experience or acceptable combination of education and experience
- dependable and reliable
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- outgoing and friendly behavior

- ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- able to answer phones and take special orders
- perform general housekeeping and sanitation
- able to operate bakery tools and equipment
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift items
- adhere to safety, health, and weights and measures regulations
- maintain Food Handlers permit

- have 1-2 years bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- be dependable and reliable

- ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- ability to answer phones and take special orders
- perform general housekeeping and sanitation in the department
- able to operate bakery equipment like knives, scales, wrappers, and pallet jacks
- physical ability to stand for up to 3 hours continuously
- able to transfer trays up to 5 lbs and items up to 40 lbs
- adhere to safety, health, and weights and measures regulations
- maintain a Food Handlers permit
Job Duties
- Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
- provide a high level of customer service
- ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation of bakery area and equipment
- stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy
- examine rotation of products and discard outdated or spoiled items
- receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality
