Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years of bakery experience or equivalent education
- Able to work flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to answer phones and take special orders
- Capable of performing cleaning and sanitation tasks
- Proficient in operating bakery equipment and tools
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
- Must adhere to safety, health, and food handling regulations
- Maintain valid Food Handlers permit
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- Be dependable and reliable with the ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
- Have good communication skills and ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- Ability to perform general housekeeping and sanitation in the department
- Be able to operate bakery equipment including knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Physically able to stand for up to 3 hours continuously and transfer items up to 40 lbs
- Maintain a Food Handlers permit
Job Duties
- Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
- Provide high level of customer service and ensure Bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment including cleaning shelves, products, and floors
- Stock, fill, face, ensure pricing accuracy, and examine rotation of all bakery products
- Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality
- Answer phones and take special orders
- Adhere to all safety, health, and food handling regulations
