Job Requirements

be at least 18 years of age
have a high school diploma or equivalent
have 1-2 years of bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
be dependable and reliable
have the ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
have an outgoing and friendly behavior
have good communication skills
be able to answer phones and take special orders
perform general housekeeping
be able to operate bakery equipment
be able to stand for up to 3 hours continuously for total of 8 hours per shift
be able to transfer trays and items up to 40 lbs without mechanical assistance
adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
maintain a Food Handlers permit

Job Qualifications

be at least 18 years of age
have a high school diploma or equivalent
have 1-2 years of bakery experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
be dependable and reliable

be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
be able to operate bakery equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
have knowledge of scales and weight measures
adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
maintain a Food Handlers permit

Job Duties

assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
provide a high level of customer service and ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment
stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while examining product rotation and discarding outdated items
receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality
answer phones and take special orders
perform general housekeeping in the bakery department
