Job Requirements

Minimum age of 18 years
High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years bakery experience or equivalent education and experience
Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Good communication skills
Outgoing and friendly demeanor
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift
Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs
Ability to operate bakery equipment
Adhere to food safety regulations
Maintain Food Handlers permit

Job Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Have 1-2 years of bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
Be dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Possess outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
Have good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Ability to answer phones and take special orders
Knowledge of bakery equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
Ability to maintain a Food Handlers permit

Job Duties

Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
Provide high level of customer service and ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment including cleaning shelves, floors, and hazardous debris removal
Stock, fill, face, ensure pricing accuracy and monitor rotation of bakery products, discarding outdated items
Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality
Answer phones and take special orders
Perform general housekeeping and sanitation duties in the bakery department
