Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Have 1-2 years bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
Be dependable and reliable
Be able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Have outgoing and friendly behavior
Have good communication skills
Be able to take direction and work in a team
Be able to answer phones and take special orders
Perform general housekeeping and cleaning duties
Be able to operate bakery equipment and tools
Be able to stand for prolonged periods and handle heavy items safely
Adhere to all safety and health regulations
Maintain a Food Handlers permit

Job Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
Dependable and reliable with ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Outgoing and friendly behavior with positive attitude
Good communication skills
Ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
Ability to use knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
Ability to stand for up to 3 hours continuously for a total of 8 hours per shift
Ability to transfer trays and items weighing up to 40 lbs safely
Adhere to safety, health, and weights and measures regulations
Hold a Food Handlers permit

Job Duties

Assist the bakery manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
Provide a high level of customer service and ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bakery area and equipment including shelves and floors
Stock, fill, face, ensure pricing accuracy, and rotate all bakery products discarding outdated items
Receive, inspect, and log bakery products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality
Answer phones and take special orders
Perform general housekeeping and clean and sanitize the work area
