Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience as a bakery chef or similar role
- ability to stand for long periods
- capability to lift and handle up to 50 pounds
- knowledge of health and safety regulations
- good communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours

- Experience in baking and production of various baked goods
- knowledge of operating baking equipment such as ovens and mixers
- ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety protocols
- strong attention to detail to ensure product quality
- good physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle heavy ingredients
- ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- basic inventory management skills
Job Duties
- Prepare and bake a wide variety of baked goods including bread, cakes, cookies, pastries, pies, and other specialty items
- operate ovens and baking equipment ensuring correct temperatures and proper baking
- monitor ingredient inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- ensure proper storage of ingredients to maintain freshness
- clean and sanitize baking equipment, workstations, and utensils to uphold hygiene standards
- regularly inspect baked goods for quality control in appearance, texture, and taste
- adhere to health department regulations and company food safety standards
