Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a bakery or similar role
  • Ability to stand for long periods without sitting
  • Capability to lift and handle heavy ingredients up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to operate ovens and manage baking equipment
  • Strong commitment to food safety and cleanliness practices

Job Duties

  • Prepare and bake a wide variety of baked goods including bread cakes cookies pastries pies and other specialty items
  • Operate ovens and other baking equipment ensuring temperatures are correct and baked goods are cooked to perfection
  • Monitor ingredient inventory levels order supplies and ensure proper storage of ingredients
  • Clean and sanitize baking equipment workstations and utensils to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
  • Regularly inspect baked goods for quality ensuring they meet the bakery’s standards in appearance texture and taste
