Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior baking experience preferred
  • Food safety certification required
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and production guidelines
  • Physical capability to perform duties involving lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
  • Effective communication skills
  • Willingness to wear PPE and uniform as required

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a baker or similar role
  • Knowledge of baking techniques and sanitation guidelines
  • Food safety certification required
  • Proficiency in basic math and numerical comprehension
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and prolonged standing
  • Familiarity with use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniform protocols

Job Duties

  • Follow production guidelines and standardized recipes to bake an assortment of pastries and baked goods
  • Prepare work area by arranging all essential tools and ingredients
  • Quantify, weigh, blend, and cut ingredients as needed
  • Use baking tools such as ovens, stoves, and mixers
  • Handle kitchen tools like knives safely
  • Adhere to food safety protocols when storing food
  • Clean and disinfect workspaces, tools, and utensils after use
  • Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude
  • Follow Aramark safety and security guidelines
