El Bolillo Bakery is a well-established Mexican bakery rooted in the vibrant Greater Heights area of Houston. Originating as a small neighborhood bakery, it has flourished due to its commitment to producing fresh pastries daily and providing excellent customer service. The bakery's dedication to quality and community engagement has led to its growth beyond its original location. Responding to increasing customer demand, El Bolillo expanded by constructing a larger facility across the street from its initial premises and further extended its presence by opening an additional location on the South side of Houston near S. Wayside. The bakery prides itself on being an active member of the Houston East End Chamber of Commerce and continuously strives to maintain strong ties within the communities it serves. Known for its authenticity and cultural heritage, El Bolillo Bakery offers a rich assortment of traditional Mexican baked goods and is an integral part of the local food landscape.

The role of Cake Decorator at El Bolillo Bakery involves the responsible design and decoration of cakes and other bakery products, ensuring that each item not only meets visual appeal standards but also maintains the high quality synonymous with the bakery's name. This position requires hands-on work in decorating and filling cakes, preparing icings, and training assistants to uphold bakery standards. The role demands a high level of attention to detail, cleanliness, and organizational skills to maintain an efficient and sanitary work environment. Cake decorators at El Bolillo are expected to provide excellent customer service, including maintaining detailed records of customer orders and preferences. Candidates should have the ability to multitask effectively, follow detailed instructions, and use baking tools and equipment such as knives, mixers, and ovens safely and proficiently. Language skills in English and Spanish are advantageous, given the bakery's diverse clientele. With positions available both full-time and part-time on-site, compensation ranges from $9 to $15 per hour, reflecting experience and skill level.
