We are currently recruiting talented back of house Associates for the positions of Baker and Separator with weekend availability required. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who are eager to accept challenges, grow quickly within the team, and are dedicated to delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced bakery environment. As an integral part of our bakery operations, the role involves the preparation, baking, decorating, and packaging of our signature baked goods, ensuring that every product meets 85C Bakery Cafe’s high standards. Employees in these positions work collaboratively with the store management team and peers, contributing to a smooth and efficient daily operation.

The role demands a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and healthy work environment in accordance with health regulations, including being ServSafe certified. Associates must be punctual, demonstrate excellent work ethic and teamwork skills, and be ready to cross-train in various departments including bread, cake, POS, and bar to better serve the team and customers. Practical physical activity is a key component of this job, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform varied movements such as standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting throughout shifts. The environment includes exposure to cooler and freezer temperatures, so adaptability and resilience are important.
