Located at 575 E. Jackson in Elkhart, Indiana, SpartanNash is currently seeking a dedicated Bakery Associate to join their dynamic team. This role is essential within the store's operations, responsible for preparing, frying, packaging, displaying, and stocking bakery products to ensure the store achieves its financial objectives. The Bakery Associate plays a vital role in delivering an outstanding guest experience by adhering to company guidelines focused on safety and food safety standards. The position demands a detail-oriented individual with basic mathematical skills who can work independently while collaborating effectively with other departments. Responsibilities include preparing bakery products according to production plans, packaging and labeling items, merchandising per set plans, managing stock and product rotation, and communicating with bakery management about supply needs. Adherence to personal protective equipment and safety guidelines, food safety protocols, and guest experience standards is critical in this role. Additionally, the associate may be assigned tasks in other departments to enhance customer experience as needed, making flexibility and teamwork crucial traits for success.
