Job Requirements
- must be 18 years of age
- authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
- successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- strong customer service skills
- exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
- ability to operate bakery equipment according to company guidelines
- ability to work varied shifts
- physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs and pull up to 250 lbs
- adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- 0-3 years of supervisory experience preferred
- strong customer service skills
- exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
- ability to operate bakery equipment such as slicer, oven, scale, knives, box cutter, and pricing gun
- bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- authorization to work in the United States
- completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
Job Duties

- reviews products for quality and freshness, taking appropriate action
- prepares, packages, labels, and displays bakery products for sale
- utilizes production planning tools to produce fresh products accurately
- follows discard and markdown processes to reduce shrink
- ensures proper product temperature per food safety guidelines
- retains temperature logs per policy
- enforces safety standards, food handling practices, sanitation, and productivity
- complies with regulatory requirements such as USDA, COOL, and DOA
- executes product recalls and withdrawals promptly
- inspects and reports unsafe conditions to management
- reports accidents, safety risks, and illegal activity
- ensures adherence to wage and hour policies
- fosters a culture of safety and ensures all associates receive safety training
- ensures personal protective equipment is available and used
- maintains equipment in good repair and reports safety hazards
