Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
- successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- strong customer service skills
- exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
- ability to operate bakery equipment according to company guidelines
- willingness to work varied shifts and perform physical tasks including lifting and manual dexterity
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 0 - 3 years of relevant supervisory experience preferred
- strong customer service skills
- exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
- ability to operate bakery equipment including slicers, ovens, scales, knives, box cutters, and pricing guns
- ability to successfully complete pre-employment drug testing and background check
- authorization to work legally in the United States
- must be at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and appreciated
- deliver consistent at shelf product availability, freshness, quality, and value
- offer product samples and assist customers with product questions and special orders
- promote trust and respect among associates through collaboration and communication
- adhere to local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
- maintain inventory awareness and report discrepancies
- inspect products for quality and take appropriate actions
- prepare, package, label, and display products for sale
- utilize production planning tools to produce fresh products accurately
- follow discarding and markdown processes to reduce shrink
- ensure product temperature compliance and maintain temperature logs
- ensure safety standards, food handling practices, sanitation, and productivity measures are followed
- execute product recalls and withdrawals timely
- report safety risks, accidents, illegal activities, and ensure adherence to wage and hour policies
- inspect and maintain safety equipment, provide safety training, and cultivate a culture of safety
- operate bakery equipment according to company guidelines
