Job Requirements
- must be 18 years of age
- authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain
- successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- strong customer service skills

- ability to operate bakery equipment including slicers, ovens, scales, knives and pricing guns
- ability to work varied shifts

Job Duties
- create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated
- deliver daily conditions that meet product availability, freshness, quality and value standards
- offer product samples and assist customers with product questions and special orders
- collaborate with associates to promote trust, teamwork and communication
- adhere to all applicable laws, company guidelines and safety policies
- monitor inventory conditions and report discrepancies
- inspect products for quality and freshness and take appropriate actions
- prepare, package, label and display products for sale
- utilize production planning tools to accurately produce bakery items
- ensure food safety compliance including proper temperature control and documentation
- execute product recalls and withdrawals effectively
- inspect and identify unsafe conditions and report to management
- maintain equipment in good repair and follow lock out/tag out procedures
- comply with wage, hour and safety regulations
- promote a culture of safety and ensure all associates have received required safety training
