Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • two years bakery experience preferred
  • previous experience working in a professional pastry or baking environment is highly desirable
  • knowledge of pastry techniques including dough preparation, cake baking, pastry fillings, and decoration
  • familiarity with different pastry types such as puff pastry, choux pastry, and shortcrust pastry
  • creativity and a passion for pastry
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Job Duties

  • Properly scale out and bake recipes for breads, cakes, pies, etc
  • lift up to 50 pounds while performing baking tasks
  • follow proper cleaning and sanitation procedures
  • multitask and work efficiently in high demand situations
  • maintain consistent taste and presentation by accurately following recipes
  • contribute to recipe development and menu innovation
  • collaborate effectively with the culinary team through excellent communication skills
