Job Requirements
- Talking and hearing to communicate effectively with public, staff, and vendors
- walking to move between different areas of the facility
- standing for extended periods for tasks and training
- climbing to inspect various kitchen and bar areas
- pulling and pushing to open and close doors and move furniture or supplies
- stooping and crouching to inspect under equipment and retrieve supplies
- ability to carry up to 40 pounds
- willingness to work a rotating irregular schedule including weekends and holidays
- commitment to producing exceptional baking results
Job Qualifications
- Minimum six months of experience in a bakery setting including operating bakery equipment
- knowledge of baking recipes and volumetrics
- ability to use scales for precise measurements
- efficient multitasking skills
- ability to work in small, organized spaces
- availability for early morning shifts
- reliable transportation
- valid health card
Job Duties
- Manage time to meet daily production quotas
- read and follow recipes accurately
- perform high volume baking during focused time periods
- clean and organize the warehouse and work areas
- organize purchase orders with proper labeling
- understand and comply with sanitation and health regulations
- maintain a clean work environment including dishwashing and sanitizing
- perform porter duties
- adapt and be flexible in opening new bakery locations
