Job Duties

  • Supervise and manage the bakery team providing guidance and support to ensure efficient production
  • Prepare doughs batters and fillings according to established recipes and techniques
  • Weigh and measure ingredients precisely to ensure consistency in product quality
  • Operate and maintain baking equipment including mixers ovens and proofing chambers
  • Shape mold and decorate dough to create a variety of breads pastries and desserts
  • Monitor the baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection and meet desired standards
  • Coordinate with the bakery lead to determine baking priorities and production schedules
  • Assist in inventory management ensuring adequate stock levels of ingredients and supplies
  • Receive validate and store merchandise and ingredient deliveries
  • Follow strict sanitation and food safety guidelines to maintain a clean and hygienic baking environment
  • Train and mentor new bakery staff ensuring they understand and follow established procedures
  • Handle customer inquiries and special orders ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Conduct regular quality checks and implement improvements as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
