Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
experience in pastry preparation or baking preferred
ability to follow detailed instructions
capacity to work early shifts or flexible hours
physical ability to stand for extended periods
good hand-eye coordination
commitment to hygiene and food safety

Job Qualifications

certificate or diploma in pastry arts or baking preferred
previous experience in a bakery or pastry shop environment is an asset
ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
good communication and teamwork skills
willingness to learn and improve baking skills
knowledge of food safety standards

Job Duties

Prepare all pastry products as trained in accordance to pastry shop standards
assist higher level bakers
follow recipes and maintain consistency in product quality
maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pastry shop
manage inventory and assist in ordering supplies
adhere to safety regulations and guidelines
perform other duties as assigned by the Chef
