Sweet Mary's Bakery is currently seeking a full-time experienced Baker/Pastry Chef to join their passionate team. This role is pivotal to the bakery's daily operations, specifically leading the morning bake, ensuring that all products are fresh, beautifully crafted, and meet the bakery's meticulous quality standards. The ideal candidate should be proficient in executing complex pastries such as croissants and macarons and have significant commercial baking experience. While a formal pastry degree is beneficial, it is not a strict requirement; however, comfort and competence in handling recipes from yeasted doughs, cakes, custards, pies, laminated pastries, and other confections like macarons and pate a choux are essential. The bakery will provide further training on their specific techniques and recipes but values prior experience and a willingness to learn and grow within Sweet Mary’s team.

The position requires availability for early mornings starting from 5 AM, primarily on weekdays with at least one weekend day commitment (Saturday or Sunday), and notably, no evening shifts are involved, making this an excellent opportunity for those seeking a morning-centric work schedule.
