Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely
- Experience in food preparation or baking preferred

Job Duties
- Produce, stock and package high quality baked items efficiently and courteously
- Merchandize cases for fullness, freshness and attractiveness to promote sales
- Meet or exceed productivity standards for individual and team results
- Rotate fresh products to prevent stale or outdated items
- Restock bakery ingredients daily and notify manager of reorder needs
- Unload and neatly stock incoming bakery ingredient shipments
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area and department
- Comply with health regulations, sanitation guidelines and safety procedures
- Operate, clean and maintain bakery equipment safely
- Demonstrate strong verbal and interpersonal skills for customer and team interactions
- Apply basic math and reading skills as required
- Promote sales by suggesting products and offering samples
- Resolve customer complaints professionally
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned by management
