The Reserve Cafe at the Chicago Roastery is inviting applicants for the position of Baker Operations Lead. This role is a vital part of Starbucks Reserve's success and commitment to exceptional customer service and operational excellence. The Baker Operations Lead contributes by supporting operations managers, associate managers, and specialists to execute store operations efficiently during scheduled shifts. This leadership role demands a dedication to upholding Starbucks' guiding principles and delivering a consistent Starbucks Reserve experience.

In this capacity, the Baker Operations Lead will act as a role model in integrity, honesty, and cultural values, maintaining composure during busy periods and unusual events to ensure seamless operations. The role involves anticipating customer and store needs, effectively communicating with management to address issues proactively, and ensuring that both partner and customer experiences meet Starbucks Reserve's high standards. Responsibilities include supporting new partner training with encouragement and coaching, fostering a positive work environment, and delivering legendary service to every customer.

Additionally, the Baker Operations Lead executes operational assignments, leverages functional systems to uphold brand experiences, and follows strict health, safety, cash handling, and security protocols. This position also requires adherence to laws and company policies relating to the service of alcohol. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential, as are strong communication skills and the ability to share the Starbucks Reserve Kitchen brand story.

The ideal candidate will have customer service experience in retail or restaurant settings, be flexible with work hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and be able to physically handle the demands of the role. Preferred qualifications include attention to detail, strong work ethic, multitasking skills, and the ability to lead and build relationships with team members. Job Duties
