Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire
  • high school diploma or GED
  • one-month related experience or training
  • ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers and decimals
  • ability to stand and walk frequently
  • ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • must be in good physical condition to perform assigned tasks
  • work environment conditions may require use of safety equipment including eye safety glasses, side shields, hearing protection, and hair or beard nets

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • one-month related experience or training
  • ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals
  • experience in a manufacturing or food manufacturing environment including GMP, SQF, autonomous or preventative maintenance, continuous improvement, and warehouse management systems such as SAP or LPR is preferred

Job Duties

  • Follow all SOPs to keep consistent product quality
  • recognize the different dough textures
  • keep hoppers filled with proper amount of dough
  • properly measure the minor ingredients by performing catch samples
  • check dough temperature
  • check the flour sifter each shift
  • check all drives, cookers, salters, ovens, dryers, discharge, and proofing conveyors to ensure they are properly operating and set to correct settings
  • document cuts per minute as required
  • check and record caustic every 30 minutes and record on BakerQC
  • check wet weights length every 30 minutes and record on BakerQC
  • create inventory moves in S4 Hana
  • record all ingredient lot numbers
  • keep salter full with the correct level
  • notify leads, QA, and packers of any bad product and how long it will last
  • communicate with immediate supervisor if any problems arise
  • perform all other duties assigned by supervisor and management
