Job Requirements
- experience in service industry (kitchen, restaurant, bar, or hospitality)
- reading, writing, and verbal proficiency in the English language
- available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- food handler card preferred
- basic knife skills
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to work as part of a team

- ability to multitask and prioritize
- physical ability to bend, twist, squat, reach, crawl, push/pull, climb stairs, and stand for long periods

Job Duties
- act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, mission, and values of Starbucks
- serve as an in-store passionate food expert, providing exceptional knowledge of food and beverages as well as information on the quality of ingredients and how products are made
- maintain a calm demeanor during peak periods to keep store operations to standard
- consistently prepare quality food items adhering to recipe and presentation standards
- contribute to exceptional customer experience by meeting production demands
- follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- anticipate customer needs and provide exceptional Reserve Cafe experience by leading with customer connection
- engage customers and leverage selling skills by suggesting food and beverage pairings
- assemble and finish all food menu items including pizza, croissants, and brioche
- assemble sandwiches and salads and prepare made-to-order baked eggs and aperitivo items
- stock and maintain the food display case
- ensure proper proofing of doughs and laminates
- execute daily prep lists and production needs
- receive and verify commissary deliveries
- adhere to inventory management and storage procedures
- communicate maintenance or supply needs to management
- complete production sheets and records
- follow operational policies including cash handling, safety and security
- maintain clean and organized workspace and cleanliness of utensils and equipment
