The Baker role at Aramark is an exciting opportunity to bring creativity and craftsmanship to life within a dynamic Food Services Team. As a baker, you will have the opportunity to work with various flavors and baking styles, following standardized recipes, and operating top-of-the-line baking equipment. This role requires a passion for baking and the ability to produce high-quality baked goods while adhering to Aramark's stringent food safety and sanitation policies. Your day-to-day tasks will include measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping ingredients, and operating ovens and other kitchen appliances.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in baking or food preparation preferred
- food safety certification or willingness to obtain
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
- ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols
- willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a baker or in a related role preferred
- proven knowledge of baking methods, standards, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage
- required to obtain food safety certification(s)
- demonstrates basic math and counting skills
- demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Job Duties
- Bakes and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
- sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
- prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, etc.
- operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, mixers, etc.
- safely uses a variety of utensils including knives
- properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
- maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
- adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
- ensures security of company assets
