Job Requirements

  • Must be able to reliably work 3-4 am start times, including weekends
  • Able to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Frequent repetitive movements such as scooping, spreading, and piping
  • Food handler's certification
  • Professional pastry experience or equivalent training

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years of professional pastry experience or completion of pastry school
  • Lamination experience preferred
  • Food handler's certification required
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Open to feedback and committed to learning and growth
  • Comfortable working safely around potential allergens such as peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, eggs, and dairy

Job Duties

  • Baking croissants and breakfast pastries each morning
  • Producing cookies, cakes, jams, custards, and other dessert components
  • Assisting with chocolate production and packaging during seasonal periods
  • Preparing and serving items from the cafe menu
  • Supporting general kitchen operations, including cleaning, dishwashing, trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing
  • Collaborating with the team and assisting in other tasks as needed
