This institution primarily operates within the hospitality sector, offering duties centered around culinary expertise, guest interaction, and operational efficiency. Their focus on quality, safety, and efficiency makes them a preferred employer for those seeking a career in the hospitality and food service field.

The Baker role at Gold Key|PHR is a critical culinary position focused on pastry production to support various company outlets, including restaurants, banquets, and in-room dining services. The person in this role is responsible for ensuring that all baked goods, including pastries, cakes, breads, chocolates, and other sweet items, meet the highest standards of quality and consistency. The Baker will manage the pastry station by adhering strictly to production recipes and governmental health safety standards, encompassing cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety. This role requires the ability to set up the station efficiently, maintain appropriate storage conditions for ingredients and finished products, and manage workflow to meet the expected volume of business.

The successful candidate will engage collaboratively with both guests and fellow associates, ensuring service culture and satisfaction are maintained. Strong communication skills and the capability to respond proactively to requests and operational needs are expected.

Additionally, this role entails preparing for shift pars, managing equipment cleanliness and maintenance, and supporting team efforts. Health and safety compliance is paramount, and the Baker must promptly report unsafe conditions and ensure the workspace remains organized and sanitary. These combined duties make the Baker position essential for delivering a consistent, quality guest experience within Gold Key|PHR's diverse food service operations.
