This role primarily involves baking shifts from Tuesday to Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with open weekend availability necessary. Employees must be comfortable standing on their feet in a warm environment for an eight-hour shift and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. The position requires excellent communication skills to clearly convey thoughts and ideas to management and peers alike. A strong emphasis is placed on health and food safety standards; as such, individuals must demonstrate a genuine concern for maintaining a clean and safe workspace, adhering strictly to all safety regulations. The ideal candidate will be able to follow directions closely, learn procedures quickly, and work independently while effectively managing their schedules. Compensation includes a starting wage of $14 per hour with significant benefits such as company-sponsored health insurance, covering 75 percent of the premium, and a 401k plan where the company contributes 3 percent of your wages irrespective of your own contribution.
