Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior food service experience preferred
- prior commercial baking experience preferred
- ability to work full time or part time
- weekend availability preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- compliance with food safety regulations
- ability to communicate effectively
- willing to perform physical tasks associated with baking

Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries per production and catering sheets
- assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- ensure food preparation follows approved recipes and production standards
- assist with completion of production records including waste tracking and product shortages
- maintain proper food presentation, quality, portion control and serving temperatures
- maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and utensils
- handle food safely according to regulations
- clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving
- interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly manner
- keep up with peak production and service calmly and efficiently
- ensure all food is presented and served per standards
- follow sanitation and safety principles in handling food and equipment
- complete shift work in a timely manner
- perform other duties as assigned
